This role is designed as a leadership development position, with the successful candidate expected to transition to the Vice President of Water and Wastewater role within three years. The Associate VP will play a critical role in managing and enhancing our water and wastewater operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving strategic initiatives. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Assist the VP of Water and Wastewater in overseeing daily operations of water and wastewater departments.
•Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery, efficiency, and sustainability.
•Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
•Collaborate with other departments to coordinate projects and initiatives.
•Manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocations for the water and wastewater departments.
•Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, positivity, and continuous improvement.
•Prepare and present reports, proposals, and strategic plans to senior management and the board of directors.
•Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
