   The fiber to the premise network being constructed by Tullahoma Utilities Board is scheduled to begin offering television, internet and phone services to residential and commercial electricity customers of TUB beginning this fall. In an effort to help gauge the number of install crews needed to efficiently connect customers, TUB has set up a preliminary sign-up form.

  Signing up on the online form does not obligate anyone to take the services; it is merely a tool to help judge the initial demand for services.

TUB to conduct flow tests of fire hydrants

                 TULLAHOMA, Tenn. – TUB will begin flow testing fire hydrants within the city limits of Tullahoma April 21.  TUB is working with the Tullahoma Fire Department to flow the hydrants to improve the fire fighting capability for Tullahoma.

            The flow testing will begin in the northeast quadrant of the city and will progress in a manner which will flush the water distribution system similar to the normal April fire hydrant flushing operation.  There is the possibility that normally occurring sediment in the water lines could be stirred up in the areas where the flow testing is taking place, so TUB recommends that customers use caution when washing clothes or performing other water-sensitive activities.  To view a map of the quadrants please follow the link below..
