In-Home Energy Evaluation (IHEE)
Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has a new energy-saving program available for homeowners in Tennessee. Essentially, homeowners pay $150 for an In-Home Energy Evaluation, which brings a TVA-approved inspector out to your home to do a two-hour evaluation of your whole house and give you energy-saving recommendations. Once a homeowner implements some of these recommendations, the homeowner can get the $150 back, along with 50 cents on the dollar, up to $500. For more information, or to schedule an IHEE for your home, call the TVA call center at (866) 441-1430.
Third Party Notifier Program
TUB customers may request that they be notified if a relative or friend is about to be disconnected for non-payment so payment arrangements can be made. Those being notified are not required to pay the bill.
